ABOUT PASS POTTERY CLUB

Mandate: To provide a studio setting for the support and development of potters and to make the art of pottery accessible to the community at a low cost.

Pass Pottery Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art of pottery and supporting the pottery community. We host 3 annual sales, one in the spring, August long weekend, and a Christmas sale at the end of November where members are welcome to display and sell their pieces to the community. It's recommended to come early as the line tends to start before the sale even begins.

Throughout the year we host instructors and provide classes for our members to continue to learn and develop their skills. The club also hosts one to two wheel throwing classes and a hand building class open to the public. The club has also hosted youth hand building classes, senior hand-building classes, and Christmas ornament-making sessions for children. One of our current members also provides pottery sessions to the long-term care residents in the Crowsnest Pass.

We provide a welcoming space for pottery enthusiasts of all levels to come together, learn, and create. Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive environment where members can explore their creativity, refine their skills, and connect with like-minded individuals.
